⚡ The 1-to-20 Multiplier Formula

Verb Suffix & Stem Family Cluster Explorer

You don't need to memorize thousands of isolated irregular verbs. In Romance and Germanic languages, prefixes attach to a single core root. Master 1 root pattern and instantly unlock 15–25 verbs with 100% conjugational accuracy.

1. Prefix + Root Law

Whenever a Latin prefix (con-, re-, des-, sub-, in-, pro-, trans-) is affixed to a verb root, the base conjugation rules remain entirely identical. What applies to venir applies directly to prevenir, convenir, intervenir.

2. The J-Stem Preterite Secret

All Spanish verbs ending in -ducir replace -c- with -j- in every preterite person (conduje, produje, traduje). Notice: 3rd person plural drops the 'i': condujeron, never *condujieron.

3. Subjunctive Harmony

If the 1st person present indicative has a consonant shift (pongo, tengo, conduzco), the entire Present Subjunctive inherits that stem: ponga-, tenga-, conduzca- across all 6 grammatical persons.
