Passive Voice & The Impersonal "Se"

In English, the passive voice is simply "The house was sold". In Spanish and Romance languages, native speakers rarely use true passive (ser + participio); instead, they rely overwhelmingly on the Pasiva Refleja (Se vende / Se venden).

Active Voice
"Cervantes escribió El Quijote."
Cervantes is the active grammatical subject performing the action directly on the direct object (El Quijote).

🚨 The #1 Mistake: "Se vende" vs "Se venden"

In the passive reflexive, the thing being acted upon is the grammatical subject! Therefore, the verb must match in number:

🏠 Singular: Se vende casa (The house is sold)
