โก Placement Rule: Proclisis vs Enclisis
In Spanish and Portuguese, pronouns normally precede conjugated verbs (Proclisis: Yo me lavo). However, with infinitives, gerunds, and affirmative imperatives, they latch onto the end of the verb (Enclisis: lavarse, lavรกndome, ยกlรกvate!).
